For obvious security reasons, users are not able to copy contents from inside the Research Environment to the outside.
However, a process does exist to copy clipboard contents from outside the Research Environment to the inside.
Click on the black dropdown arrow in the top-middle of the screen, as shown in the above screenshot. The arrow is located underneath your web browser's URL field.
Paste the information that you want to copy into the Research Environment into the white clipboard. Then, select everything that was just copied into the white clipboard and right click it and select copy. You can then paste it into the Research Environment.
We recommend using the mouse to right-click and copy-and-paste, rather than keyboard shortcuts.
